Plein Air during Covid
Well, as all of you, I had such cabin fever due to the lockdown during Covid. I needed a break badly and when my last plein air event was cancelled-well that was the last straw. So, since the campground I was going to stay at was open for business and I needed some cobwebs dusted off-I went.
The campground is a wonderful place to unwind and refresh. I was able to social distance quite well and paint in plein air to my hearts content, even from my campsite at the RV Park. The fresh air and beautiful scenery did much to help elevate my mood and the added bonus was that we also got to play some music with fellow musicians in the park.
so my advice to you, whether artist or not, is to get out in nature and redeem your sense of self and soul. It is a wonderful to replenish and quiet the mind.
