Exploring where you live in Covid
We are blessed to live in a community of infinite beauty surrounded by lakes . Our house sits in one of the coves and we enjoy the beauty of water and wildlife daily. During this time of staying home, I have discovered areas to paint in and around our community. The developers were smart and kept the shoreline pristine and not cluttered with the usual trappings of a lake community. This makes for beautiful shorelines and abundant picturesque scenery, not to mention the wildlife.
I I have been exploring and painting “in my backyard”. It has been delightful and helped me to refocus on what matters. I have also been exploring new mediums and new techniques using the mediums I am already comfortable with. Sometimes, in an ever changing world , we need to stop and look around at the beauty that is in our everyday life. You might be amazed at what you find.
